Infertility Treatment
Infertility treatments are a way to help couples who are struggling to conceive. There are many different types of treatments available, and each has its own benefits and drawbacks. Some infertile couples find that taking multiple treatments is the best way to conceive. Others use assisted reproductive technologies (ART) such as in vitro fertilization (IVF). The key is to find the treatment that is right for you and your partner. Additionally, fertility treatments can be used to reduce the number of eggs that are produced each month and help to increase the chances of achieving a baby.
Know More About Infertility
As we all know, Infertility means the ability to not conceive a child. Infertility is seen in both men and women. This is a disease that causes both the male and female reproductive systems. The causes sometimes are detected but sometimes it becomes difficult to detect. It may be after one year of regular unprotected copulation or may be of other problems. Sometimes the issues that cause infertility are present in by birth and sometimes the issues develop later.
Infertility is basically seen in of two ways:-
1. Primary infertility :- inability of those couples who never conceived.
2. Secondary infertility :- inability to conceive after having a first child.
Now have look at the cases of infertility caused in both males and females one by one:-
Infertility is male-
1. Cryptorchidism (testes are less functional which can cause infertility in adulthood, testes are responsible for the secretion of testosterone.)
2. Alcoholism (drinking too much alcohol which causes hormonal disbalance and thus causes the production of sperm cell development)
3. Thyroid dysfunction (too much secretion from the thyroid gland also causes hormonal disbalance)
4. Gonadotrophin (it realizes a hormone that is responsible for the realization of follicle-stimulating hormone luteinizing hormone from the pituitary gland that controls the production of sperm and is thus effective in the abnormality in sperm production or function)
5. Acquired infection (an infection transmitted while treatment from healthcare facilities or by surroundings infected environment)
6. Deletion of the Y chromosome (these deletion means loss of genetic material which are responsible for preventing the production of proteins which are needed for sperm cell development)
7. Uses of drug for longer time (uses antihypertensive drugs results in infertility)
8. Immotile cilia ( a congenital disorder in which cilia of our body showing an abnormal symptoms or bring immotile which causes the male sterility).
Infertility in female-
1. An ovulation (Polycystic ovary syndrome that causes hormonal disbalance which affects the ovulation. Ovulation is the process where an egg being prepared for the fertilisation.)
2. Luteal Phase Defect (LPD) (it effects the production of progesterone hormone in female which helps in the fertilisation).
3. Defect growth of uterus and vagina Fimbriae (in this case a feotus unable to plant in the wall of the uterus and a woman have problems in conceiving).
4. Dyspareunia (sometimes partners have negative feelings that causes trauma, rough sex leads to a painful intercourse which effects the fertility in female).
5. Fertilization and implantation failure (improper functioning in egg production causes fertilization which need to happen correctly to get pregnant and improper growth in uterus or any dysfunctioning in uterus can cause the implantation and thus a female unable to conceive).
6. Early miscarriage Ectopic pregnancy (miscarriage in rare, causes the infertility, in ectopic pregnancy an egg implants outside the uterus which is very painful and sometimes miscarriage occur and due to this female unable to get pregnant).
7. Tubectomy (it is like surgery where small part of fallopian tube tied up or removed which is responsible for carrying the egg for fertilization).
Medication treatment in both male and female can affect the fertility like cancer which includes radiation known as chemotherapy which impair sperm production in male and impair female fertility.

Above we discussed the infertility it's problems and causes now we learn about its diagnosis and treatment how to get rid of this major problem

(in female) :- with the help of this treatment an healthy sperm injected directly in the uterus when ovary realise one egg or more eggs for the fertilisation.
With the help of surgery to restore fertility.
(In female) :- this surgery known as hysteroscopic surgery .
Assisted reproductive technology (ART) :- It is the treatment where both egg and sperm are treated for the fertility. basically there are many types of ART. But here we read about some of ART-
IVF (in vitro fertilization) :- The technique where multiple mature eggs fertilize with sperm in the laboratory and then it implants as it converts into embryos in the uterus wall after the several days of fertilisation. Gestational Surrogacy :- woman who have not functional uterus and thus she is unable to conceive then by the help of this technique a carrier's uterus is used to placed partner's embryo for pregnancy. There are many complications while having these treatments but still there is a hope for those who are unable to become parents.
